The meeting had a bumper attendance of 38 people, including 11 councillors. The presentation by representatives of Thames Valley Police (see draft minutes) was comprehensive and the questioning intensive. The police received a spontaneous round of applause, both for what they said at the meeting and for the effective way that had made an impact on Goring in recent weeks.
