The chairman of Reading Football Club, Sir John Madejski kindly agreed to be the guest of honour and to open St Thomas' church Village Fair at 12.30pm on Saturday 27 June at the Rectory Garden. It was the first village fair to be held at the Rectory Garden for over twenty years and was a fun day out for all.  All proceeds went to the "St Thomas' builds for tomorrow" fund.
