Little Legs and Hairy Legs run and bike race 2010

Starts from Sheepcot field - 5km run followed by 20km bike race then another 5km run, to be completed either as an individual or as part of a team. Up to 300 adults and 200 children to take part. All profits to children's charities.

Goring receives South of England village of the year award

Calor's Paul Blacklock praised the village for being "such a wonderful community" when he presented a metal plaque and two framed certificates to commemorate Goring's victory in the 2009 village of the year competition.

Goring named south-east region village of the year!
